Maria has worked with individuals with special needs for 30+ years, which includes functioning as a special education teacher in the classroom setting, child study team member as a learning disabilities teacher- consultant, and developmental intervention provider for New Jersey’s Early Intervention Program. Maria is well-versed in a wide array of standardized testing instruments from birth through adulthood. She studied through the Dyslexia Learning Institute and has experience with assessing for dyslexia and providing reading remediation using Orton Gillingham methodology. In her free time, Maria enjoys spending time at the shore.
